Where a URL QR code pulls its weight

Posters and packaging

Send people from a physical product or poster to a page, a video or a how-to, without anyone typing a long address.

Menus and signage

Cafes and venues swap costly reprints for a code that always points at the current page.

Slides and business cards

Link to a portfolio, a booking page or an app download from a talk or a card.

Reviews and socials

Point customers at a Google review form or your latest profile in a single scan.

From print straight to the page

A link code turns any printed surface into a tap-through to your site - the workhorse of QR codes. The QR Scanner App shows you the destination before it opens, so a tampered sticker never catches you out, and it lets you make link, WiFi and contact codes anywhere. Basic scanning is free; the extras are a one-time payment, not a subscription.

URL QR Code FAQ

Paste your full web address (including https://) into the field and tap Generate. Your QR code appears instantly and you can download it as PNG or PDF or print it. It is free and needs no sign-up.
Yes, completely free with no sign-up and no account. The QR code is yours to use anywhere, including commercial and print use. There are no scan limits because the code points straight at your link.
This tool makes a static QR code, which points directly at the link you enter, so the destination cannot be edited later. If you expect the address to change, point the QR code at a link you control (for example a short link or a page you can redirect) so you can update where it leads.
No. The QR code itself never expires - it simply stores your link. It keeps working as long as the web page it points to stays online.
A good rule of thumb is that the printed code should be about one tenth of the scanning distance. For a poster scanned from two metres away, print the code at least 20 cm wide. Our downloads are high resolution, so they stay sharp at large sizes.
