WiFi QR Code Generator

Create a QR code for your WiFi so guests connect with a single scan - no spelling out passwords. 100% free, no sign-up, and it runs entirely in your browser.
Show password

Your network name and password never leave your device. The QR code is built right here in your browser.

How to create a WiFi QR code

1

Enter your WiFi details

Type your network name (SSID) and password, then pick the security type. WPA/WPA2 covers almost every modern router.

2

Generate the code

Tap Generate and your WiFi QR code appears instantly. Nothing is uploaded - it is created on your device.

3

Share or print it

Download it as PNG or PDF, or print a card to put on the fridge, the counter, or a guest-room wall. Guests scan to connect.

Scan it to connect - and on the go

Point the QR Scanner App at your new code to join the network in a tap. The app also scans codes safely - showing you what a code contains before it opens anything - and lets you create WiFi, contact and link codes anywhere. Basic scanning is free, with extra features as a fair one-time payment (no subscription).

WiFi QR Code FAQ

Enter your network name (SSID) and password, choose the security type (usually WPA/WPA2), and tap Generate. Your WiFi QR code appears straight away and you can download or print it. It is completely free and needs no sign-up.
On most modern phones, guests just open the camera and point it at the code - a prompt to join the network pops up. On older phones, a dedicated scanner app like the QR Scanner App reads it and connects. No password typing required.
Yes. The code is generated entirely on your device and is never uploaded to any server. The QR code simply stores the same details you would tell a guest anyway. Anyone who can scan the printed code can join that network, so place it where you are happy for guests to see it.
Yes. The code uses the standard WiFi format that both iOS and Android understand. iPhones (iOS 11 and later) and modern Android phones can read it with the built-in camera, and any QR scanner app can read it too.
Choose WPA/WPA2 for almost every home and business router - it is the modern standard. Pick WEP only for very old equipment, and No password for a truly open network with no password at all.
